ABSEILING GUIDE SINGLE PITCH LOCATION SPECIFIC (NATURAL SURFACE) COURSE

On completion of the course the student will be able to apply the required Leadership, Management, Outdoor Recreation and Abseil specific skills to conduct a group abseiling activity for beginners on a basic cliffs to approximately 35 Metres.

Three days duration.

Our next course is to be conducted at Beechworth from 2nd to 4th June 2008, $650 pp Course Component only. Meals and accommodation can be arranged) Training is conducted to meet the requirements of the Victorian Adventure Activity Standards(AAS).

ASSESSMENT CRITERIA for SINGLE PITCH GUIDE COURSE  (NATURAL SURFACES)

Establish Ropes for single pitch abseiling on natural surfaces (Location Specific)
Safeguard an abseiler using a single rope belay system*
Guide abseiling on natural surfaces (single pitch)
