THE ADVENTURES
Britannia Creek Cave is a great location for experincing an introduction to caving techniques and for just having fun. Labertouche Cave provides both a vertical and horizontal caving experience but still at an introductory level.

THE LOCATIONS
Britannia Creek is a short drive from Yarra Junction while Labertouche Cave is near Drouin, a 40 minute drive further through the forest and out into Gippsland. (Or via the prices highway)

MEETING PLACES
For Britannia Creek Cave we will meet  in the car park opposite the supermarket at  Yarra Junction, then convoy out a short distance to the cave area.

For Labertouche Cave we will meet at the Labertouche hall which is signposted from the Princes Highway. There is some driving along all weather dirt roads that are a little rough in places.

TIMES

The Brittania Creek Cave adventure takes a half day while Labertouche is a full day expedition that includes an hour walk each way to and return from the cave location.

We would normally meet at 1 Pm for Britannia Creek and 9 AM for the Labertouche adventure.

WALK

We park at Britannia Creek cave so there is only a small walk to the cave. At labertouche there is a 3 to 4 Km walk to the cave which takes about an hour each way.
