2009 WINTER SNOW CAMPING TOURS

OVERVIEW

During Winter we run a range of adventure options such as ALPINE ABSEILING and BURSTONS CREVASSE ADVENTURES AT MT BUFFALO,CROSS COUNTRY SKI AND SNOW CAMPING AT BUFFALO, HOTHAM AND FALLS CREEK, LIMESTONE CAVING AT WEE JASPER AND BUCHAN CAVES AND OTHER ADVENTURES. 

We can also facilitate Educational and Corporate activities and training.

SKI TOURING AND SNOW CAMPING

OVERVIEW
Try Cross country ski tuition or day touring
at Falls Creek, Mt Hotham  and Mt Buffalo (when snow conditions allow) or join us for a spectacular snow camping trip out of magnificent Falls Creek and Mt Hotham this winter.

Arrange for a private tour to suit your level of experience or your groups needs.

We also conduct Winter Abseiling and Crevassing at Mt Buffalo and Limestome Caving at Wee Jasper (NSW) or Buchan Caves (Vic) during winter. We can also condcut winter caving near Melbourne.

EQUIPMENT
For half and full day trips you will need back country skis and boots, warm clothing and a day pack with a Wet Weather Jacket, snacks and water. You will also require a beanie or warm cap, gloves and any personal medication.

For snow camping you will either need to provide your own sleeping bag or we can arrange for hire.

We will provide you with a list of recommended food and other camp items and again we can arrange for hire of equipment where required.


FOOD

 We will provide food and cooking gear\


SNOW TENT

We will provide a snow tent between each two persons


YOU WILL ALSO NEED

You will also need:

Comfortable pack


Fleece and other suitable clothing

Thermal underwear

Quality Wet weather jacket and trousers

Change of clothes

Beanie

Peaked Cap

Personal medical items

Water container

stove (one between two or we can hire)

 

2009 COSTS (NOT INCLUDING ski and boot hire ) Note we can arrange hire at Rays Ski Hire Myrtleford or as appropriate for the activity


>The beginners expedition (two days and one night out) program is priced from $720 pp

>For more experienced skiers why not try our longer tour (Three days and two nights out) from $990pp

>For a Five day expedition packages (four nights out) the fee from $1480 pp
*minimum fees for two persons for all activities

 PRE BOOKING DISCOUNTS:A 15% discount will apply for bookings (with a 20% deposit paid) made prior to April 2009

BOOKINGS (All trips are snow dependant and we may elect to change locations where needed)

Bookings must be confirmed with full payment(one month prior prefered)

OVERVIEW
We can conduct a range of abseil adventures at Mt Buffalo including a 250 Metre Multi-Pitch descent. We can operate in the rain or snow and a moonlight abseil in the snow is an unforgettable experience.
